Contract termination: Peña takes new paths

The professional boxer Angelo Peña and his manager Leander Strupler are ending their collaboration. The early termination of the existing contractual relationship is taking place by mutual agreement and with great mutual respect.

«I thank Leander and his entire team from Swiss Pro Boxing for the time spent together, the trust, and the path we have taken together,» says Peña, who has been able to win all of his 13 professional fights so far and is currently ranked 6th in the WBO world rankings. «My focus is now entirely on the USA. That's why I want to reorganize my team in the areas of management and promotion.»

«Together we have shown the audience in Switzerland the best boxing matches of the early 2020s,» summarizes Leander Strupler of the time spent together. He accompanied Peña, now 31, from his professional debut in 2021 to a four-time win of the WBO Intercontinental Title as manager and promoter.
«I will proudly keep my fingers crossed for Angelo when I follow his next fights on TV,» says Strupler, who calculates that Peña has a great chance of fighting for a major title abroad in the coming years. Angelo Peña and Leander Strupler will continue their paths independently
