Félix Meier will contest his sixth professional fight next Tuesday in Geneva. In the unique setting of the “Cirque de Noël,” the unbeaten Swiss boxer will face an opponent who is also undefeated.

The 21-year-old Swiss professional boxer Félix Meier (5–0–0) will face the 23-year-old Slovak David Lidga (3–0–0) on November 25 in Geneva. The clash between the two unbeaten fighters will take place in the circus tent of the “Cirque de Noël” on the Place de Plainpalais.
The event “Boxing Circus,” which combines boxing, kickboxing, and circus acts, provides the setting for the fight. The promoter is Daniel Perroud, who organized major sporting events in Western Switzerland in the 1980s — from boxing and kickboxing galas to supercross, tennis, equestrian sports, and cycling. “Daniel’s renewed involvement in boxing is a real gain for the scene in Western Switzerland,” says Leander Strupler, manager of Félix Meier. Together with European champion Mauro Martelli, Perroud shaped the successful years of Western Swiss boxing in the 1980s.
For Meier, the appearance in Geneva marks his fourth fight this year. About a month later, the next bout will already follow: On December 26, he will step into the ring again at Boxing Day in the Kursaal Arena in Bern.
