Zarah Fairn dos Santos was born in 1986 in Salvador, in the state of Bahia, to a Moroccan father and a Brazilian mother. At the age of twelve, she began training in boxing under her father’s guidance. She holds French nationality and has a degree in political science.
Before her MMA career, Fairn practiced boxing. She later transitioned to mixed martial arts. She made history by becoming the first Frenchwoman to sign a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and competed on the world’s biggest MMA stage in the United States.
She is now returning to her original passion. In 2026, she aims to make her professional debut with Swiss Pro Boxing in the super middleweight division. Standing 1.78 meters tall and competing at 76.2 kilograms, she brings an impressive physical presence and significant punching power.
Fairn lives in Nice and regularly travels to Las Vegas for intensive training camps to prepare at a professional level. Supported by sponsors, she is able to focus entirely on competitive sport.
