Félix Meier is the youngest member of the Swiss Pro Boxing team. Born and raised in Lausanne, he still lives with his mother, who has German roots and raised him on her own. In Lausanne, he found his way into boxing gyms at an early age – in a region where boxing and martial arts are deeply rooted in the community, and competition in the training halls is accordingly intense. As an amateur, he won the Swiss Championships in all age categories and boxed for the national team.
Since turning professional, Meier trains in Bern under Alain Chervet, one of the most renowned names in Swiss boxing. His transition from the Olympic style to professional boxing was swift. He is regarded as a versatile, technically skilled boxer who, despite his young age, already possesses impressive physical strength.
Outside the ring, he is the opposite of a show-off: polite, modest, with an open smile – the typical “favorite son-in-law”. But in the ring, he is relentless. For fans, this translates into identification and high-quality, thrilling boxing.
Meier interrupted his high school education to fully dedicate himself to boxing. Thanks to sponsors and supporters, he can now focus entirely on elite sport. He is one of the few Swiss professionals who appeal to fans in both the French- and German-speaking regions, bridging the linguistic divide.
His career is still young, but his goals are clear: a European championship in the medium term and, in the long term, the ambition to lead Swiss boxing into a new decade. Many already see in him the potential to ignite a wave of enthusiasm reminiscent of the era of Fritz Chervet.
